The SRC Student Teaching Awards for 2012-13 reflected very well on the School of Humanities / Sgoil nan Daonnachdan with Dr Phillips O’Brien (History) winning the Best Supervisor Award; Professor Thomas Munck (History) nominated for the Best College Teacher in Arts Award; Dr Stephen Marritt (History) nominated for the Best Advisor of Studies Award and Dr Colleeen Batey (Archaeology) nominated for the Best Dissertation Supervisor Award. These awards are particularly welcome and valuable as they come from our students. On behalf of the School I would like to congratulate our colleagues on these well-deserved accolades.
