Introducing PHI-UK Policy Modelling for Health

Policy Modelling for Health, formerly known as Enhancing Policy Modelling, is a £7.5 million research grant funded as part of the £35 million UK Research and Innovation (UKRI) Population Health Improvement Network (PHI-UK).

Economic conditions are intrinsically linked with population health and health inequality outcomes.  Conversely, an unhealthy population limits the available workforce and productivity, posing a threat to economic prosperity.

Our core challenge is to support policy decisions that intervene on the economic determinants of ill health and health inequalities.
