TCH Pathways: Trans Complex Healthcare Pathways Study

The TCH Pathways study looks at the different ways that trans, non-binary and gender questioning adults in Scotland access gender identity clinics and other related healthcare services. This includes the NHS, private healthcare, third sector organisations, peer-led support and other services. We want to find out more about what works well and what could be improved in terms of interactions around health.

Around 40 people will be interviewed. Each interview will last approximately 1-1.5 hours. Participants will also be asked about what has been most and least helpful in their healthcare and support experiences.

This study is funded by the Scottish Government and the findings will help to improve healthcare for that trans, non-binary and gender questioning people in Scotland.
