Dr Amy Nimegeer is one of four University of Glasgow researchers to be awarded the first ever Research Culture Award.
The awards celebrate outstanding activities that promote collegial behaviours among researchers and contribute to a positive research culture.
Amy was nominated by her colleagues for promoting a supportive and dynamic research environment in the Unit. She has implemented various research and professional development-related activities including: organising training courses to develop researchers' skills, co-leading writing retreats, engaging the public with research, organising supportive inductions for new colleagues and welcoming visitors, organising and taking part in mock interview and viva panels, and leading the Unit's social group.
