Evidence-based practice
Evidence-based practice
Evidence-based practice (EBP) is an increasingly important feature of modern health care, in both primary and secondary care.
General Practice and Primary Care is active in the teaching of EBP skills at several levels including an MSc in Primary Care course - Epidemiology, evidence and statistics for primary care - and short CPD courses.
A variety of materials are available here to help you develop and practise the skills of critical appraisal, including checklists to help you ask the right questions of papers; "jargon busters" to explain the terminology; and worked examples. A list of other evidence-based practice sites is also included.
