Celebrating the recent achievements of Institute of Health and Wellbeing staff and students
- MRC/CSO Social and Public Health Sciences Unit’s Rich Mitchell, and Robertson Centre for Biostatistics' John Cleland and Ian Ford, who are among Web of Science’s highly cited researchers for 2021. The recognition is demonstrated by the production of multiple highly cited papers that rank in the top 1% of citations for field and year in the Web of Science.
- Mental Health and Wellbeing's Rory O'Connor, whose book "When it is Darkest: Why People Die by Suicide and What We Can Do to Prevent It" has won the British Psychological Society (BPS) Popular Science Book award.
- General Practice and Primary Care PGR student Anna Black, for successfully defending the thesis entitled "Preventive health care for migrant populations".
- PG Diploma Clinical Neuropsychology (PGT) student Laura Meader, randomly selected for the £50 Amazon voucher for taking part in the PGR/PGT survey!
If we have missed a recent achievement, award or honour, do let us know and we will add it to next month's HAWKEYE!
