Celebrating the recent achievements of Institute of Health and Wellbeing staff and students
- Scottish Learning Disabilities Observatory's Angela Henderson, Deborah Kinnear and Rhiann McLean on their shortlisting for the UofG Engagement Awards (Best Community or Public Engagement Initiative), for "Research Voices: adapting a Citizens’ Jury model to make health research more inclusive for people with learning disabilities". Winners will be announced on UofG's main twitter account @UofGlasgow on 09 June 2021 – follow the announcements using the hashtag #UofGEngageAwards.
- Mental Health and Wellbeing's Karyl Powell-Booth, on successfully defending the thesis entitled "An exploration of the factors associated with suicide risk and self-harm in Jamaica"
- Health Economics and Health Technology Assessment's Nicola McMeekin, on successful defending the thesis entitled "Conceptual models in health economic evaluation: a new role"
- Robertson Centre for Biostatistics' Lizzie Thomson, appointed as an internal candidate to a new senior project manager post
