The SPHSU, along with colleagues from Human Nutrition, organised a day of family-friendly activities in Glasgow Science Centre on Sunday 28th April 2019.
The event was part of the European Congress on Obesity which Glasgow hosted from 28th April-1st May 2019 and aimed to engage a non-academic audience with the University’s research around obesity, physical activity and population health.
The activities on offer included a step count challenge, where children and adults could wear pedometers to count the number of steps they took during their Science Centre visit, and finding the healthy food in a town full of unhealthy choices.
