GPPC's Peter Hanlon awarded MRC Clinical Research Training Fellowship

Dr Peter Hanlon has been awarded a 3 year MRC Clinical Research Training Fellowship to study the impact of frailty on chronic disease management
Dr Peter Hanlon, GP and Clinical Academic Fellow based in GPPC, has been awarded 3 years funding from the MRC to undertake a project assessing the prevalence and implications of frailty in chronic disease.
The project will focus on type 2 diabetes, rheumatoid arthritis, and COPD. Peter will be supervised by Professor Frances Mair, Dr David McAllister and Professor Jim Lewsey.
