A conference was held in Glasgow on 14th and 15th Feb 2019, remembering and celebrating the work and life of Dr Julian Tudor Hart, while launching the publication of a book “The Exceptional Potential of General Practice”
A very successful conference was held in Glasgow on 14/15th February 2019, remembering and celebrating the work and life of Dr Julian Tudor Hart, while launching the publication of a book “The Exceptional Potential of General Practice”, bringing together presenters from Deep End Projects in Scotland, Ireland and England and looking ahead to the future challenges of social medicine and global health.
Speakers included Allyson Pollock, Iona Heath, Stewart Mercer (formerly of Institute of Health and Wellbeing), Jan De Maeseneer and Sir Andy Haines.
Commentaries on the conference, including a blog by Dr Richard Horton, Chief Editor of the Lancet, plus pdfs of the slide presentations are available on the GPs at the Deep End website.
