Home carers' mental health worsened during lockdown

A new study led by the MRC/CSO Social and Public Health Sciences Unit's Dr Elise Whitley found that individuals providing care for a member of their household had poorer mental health than non-carers prior to the COVID-19 pandemic and that this worsened during lockdown

HAWKEYE is an opportunity to share with colleagues your research, teaching and other activities, reflect on work-related experiences, and publicise your events. Submissions are welcome from all IHW staff and students. HAWKEYE takes a little holiday in July (!) so the deadline for publication in the next edition is Wednesday 18 August.
