‌IHW's Professor Ewan Macdonald was presented with a Lifetime Achievement Award by Dr Blanaid Hayes, Dean of the Faculty of Occupational Medicine of the Royal College of Physicians of Ireland, on the occasion of the International Committee of Occupational Health conference in Dublin in May 2018.

Professor Macdonald gave a lecture entitled “Reflections on the past, present and future of health and work”.
