Professor Rory O’Connor spent most of November in Australia as the Everymind Expert in Residence and delivering a series of public lectures, panel discussions, in conversations and meetings with leaders in suicide prevention across Australia in Brisbane, Melbourne, Newcastle and Sydney. Everymind is one of the leading Institutes in Australia dedicated to reducing mental ill-health, reducing suicide and improving wellbeing.
Rory was particularly honoured to deliver the inaugural Trevor Waring Memorial Lecture on Understanding and Preventing Suicide in the Newcastle Conservatorium of Music on the 15 November 2018.
