Celebrating the recent achievements of Institute of Health and Wellbeing staff and students
- General Practice and Primary Care's David Blane, Andrea Williamson and Marianne McCallum, shortlisted for one of UoG's Knowledge Exchange and Public Engagement Awards 2020, in the Best Collaboration (Policy and Practice) category for the innovative GPs at the Deep End project
- General Practice and Primary Care's Michael Sullivan, awarded a Medical Research Council Clinical Research Training Fellowship entitled "Interrogating disease clusters, multimorbidity and adverse outcomes in chronic kidney disease". This project seeks to understand the health problems faced by people with kidney disease and multiple long-term health conditions. Michael's work represents a collaboration between IHW's Professor Frances Mair, Professor Alex McConnachie and Dr Bhautesh Jani, and Professor Paddy Mark at the Institute of Cardiovascular and Medical Sciences.
