The MRC/CSO Social and Public Health Sciences Unit has published a new briefing, "The impact of COVID-19 on social relationships and health".
The briefing summarises a recently published paper that examines key aspects of social relationships that were disrupted by the COVID-19 pandemic, focusing on four distinct domains of social relationships:
social networks
social support
social interaction
intimacy
It also outlines recommendations for future public health policy and recovery.
