Christine is a community champion!
Christine Hamill, cleaner at 1,2&3 Lilybank Gardens, has won the prestigious community award of Gardening Excellence for the third time! Christine who lives in Cadder loves to spend time in her garden. She said 'Nothing gives me more pleasure than to go home after work and begin gardening. I can spend hours there and not notice the time go by' Customer services team leader from Cadder Housing Association said ' The Community Champion event provides great pleasure not only to the winning nominees, but also to the Association. The event is our way of saying thank you for the selfless year-round contributions made by many of our residents, who make a positive difference to our community.'
Christine also keeps chickens. She has a 10 foot fish pond with Koi Carp and has recently added a Japanese bridge to enhance the space.
