Counselling
Although counselling might not be for everyone, it can be a very helpful tool to help provide support through difficult times.
- The Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) is available free of charge to all University employees and provides emotional support through an independent and confidential service. The service offers one-to-one counselling in person, on the phone or by email and you can also log on to the PAM Assist website for online resources including a legal advice line.
- You can also search for local private counsellors through the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy.
- There are also a number of other external organisations that may be able to provide support for both specific or more general issues.
