The Inaugural lecture series contributes to celebrating and promoting the work of our School’s research and teaching leaders. The lectures are intended to increase public awareness of the University's role within the wider community by providing a public forum for our research and enhancing Glasgow's statutory role as a civic University.

You are cordially and formally invited to join in Professor Williams`s lecture, and the reception to follow immediately afterwards. This will take place on Wednesday 5th March 2025, Time: 16:00-17:00 BST at the East Quad Lecture Theatre, Gilbert Scott Building 226, East Quadrangle, University of Glasgow. The lecture will ALSO be live streamed. The lecture will be followed by a drinks reception in Room 412 East Quad, from 17:00-18:30.
