Biography

I am a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the University of Glasgow, specialising on the design and analysis of sustainable composite materials and structures. I am currently working on an EPSRC-funded project entitled “Induction Melt Incremental Thermoforming of Advanced Thermoplastic Composites.” My research spans a broad range of solid mechanics topics, including residual stress, thermal cycling, machining, damage mechanics, artificial intelligence (AI), and structural health monitoring (SHM) in composite systems. I employ both experimental and computational approaches in my research.

In addition to my research activities, I manage the website and co-organise the monthly seminar series for the Materials and Manufacturing Research Group (MMRG).

My primary research interests lie in the experimental and computational mechanics of composite materials and structures. To date, I have published over 40 papers in leading international journals and conferences and have received several academic awards, including:
