Quantum Circuits
Quantum technology with superconducting circuits
Our research connects quantum technology, condensed matter and material science, and is concerned with nanoelectronic circuits for near term applications in quantum technology.
We focus in fields of superconducting spintronics, quantum engineered nanoelectronic circuits and quantum information processing.
Our research goal is to build quantum technologies using superconductors. Activities cover fields from emulation of open quantum systems, sensing with non-classical states, and material and electro-magnetic circuit research, including hybrid devices.
The group is part of the cross-disciplinary Glasgow Research Beacon ‘The Nano & Quantum World’, including the James Watt Nanofabrication Centre being perfectly suited to develop scaled-up and packaged long coherent circuits.
