Singapore Institute of Technology (SIT)
Since 2011, we have partnered with the Singapore Institute of Technology (SIT) to offer a range of BEng Honours degree programmes delivered in Singapore.
Programmes include:
- BEng (Honours) in Civil Engineering
- BEng (Honours) in Mechanical Engineering
This collaboration ensures that students receive the same high-quality education as those studying at our Glasgow campus, with a curriculum tailored to meet the needs of Singapore’s growing industries. The partnership also supports PhD training and fosters research collaboration with Singaporean industries.

Glasgow College UESTC
Our partnership with the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China (UESTC), through Glasgow College UESTC, combines the strengths of both institutions to provide a global educational experience.
The joint degree programmes, taught entirely in English and delivered at the UESTC campuses in Chengdu and Hainan, integrate the best of British and Chinese educational systems, preparing students to thrive in global engineering careers.
Students can choose from a variety of specialisations, ensuring a tailored educational journey that meets the demands of the modern engineering landscape.
There is a 2+2 programme option that gives students the option to study at the University of Glasgow for years 3 and 4 or a 3+1 programme where students complete year 4 of their degree here.

Our innovative 3+1+1 programme with the University of Denver allows engineering students from Denver to complete their fourth year at Glasgow, followed by a one-year Master’s degree at the University of Glasgow.
This unique partnership offers students specialised study in Electrical, Mechanical, or Computer Engineering, with access to advanced technical electives, including courses in renewable energy, robotics, and digital signal processing.

This 2+2 programme allows students who successfully complete two years of study on recognised programmes at Tianjin to gain entry to Level 3 (Honours) of selected programmes at the University of Glasgow.
