CAD-Graphics Services
The CAD-Graphics team support the design and creation of images to support Teaching and Research in the
James Watt School of Engineering, as well as supporting the teaching of CAD to our undergraduate students.
The team produce images and animations for investment presentations, conferences and research papers.
These are designed to help explain the diverse science and engineering behind the world changing research
undertaken within the School of Engineering and the wider University.
CAD-3D Printing
The CAD-Graphics team manage all CAD and 3D printing requests and are based on level 7 of the James Watt South Building. The team have created a bespoke 3D print farm for student and staff use based on level 3 of the James Watt South building.
CAD support is available for requests based on:
- AUTODESK
- FUSION
- REVIT
Graphics
The CAD-Graphics team provide a comprehensive graphics support to the School of Engineering with a fully equipped graphics studio on level 6 of the James Watt South Building.
Services provided include:
- Design and layout of presentation materials using the Adobe software suite.
- Photography/Video
- Motion Graphics
- Illustration
- Scanning
