Leadership and organisational framework
Our strategic leadership and management structure is driven by a team of directors and senior leaders. Operationally, we are structured in a matrix, consisting of five thematic research divisions and five teaching disciplines, each led by a Head of Research Division (HoRD) and a Head of Teaching Discipline (HoTD). Academic staff report to both the HoRD and HoTD through solid and dotted line management, with the solid line dependent on job family. Our Executive Deans oversee offshore transnational education programmes and are equivalent to the Heads of Teaching Discipline.
