Mrs Eilidh Soussi

Biography
Eilidh joined the University of Glasgow in August 2023 and is a member of the Pedagogy, Praxis and Faith Research and Teaching Group in the School of Education.
In 2001 Eilidh graduated from the University of Glasgow with a joint honours degree in History and English. Eilidh then spent two years teaching English in Japan as part of the JET programme.
In 2005 Eilidh was awarded her PGDE (Primary) from Strathclyde University.
She has a Masters in Educational Studies from the University of Glasgow, gained in 2014 and wrote her dissertation on promoting reading for pleasure.
As well as acting principal teacher posts Eilidh was seconded to work with Education Scotland for two years as a development officer. During this time she was responsible at a national level for leading an initiative - Community Resilience. This included delivering training and organising networking events.
Prior to taking up the post of full-time Lecturer in Teacher Education, Eilidh worked part-time as an Associate Tutor with the School of Education (from May 2021) where she was a seminar leader on the course Seminars in Contemporary Issues and a dissertation supervisor for Educational Studies MEd and MSc.
Supervision
Eilidh will be supervising students on the MEduc programme year 5.
