UGEAN Capacity Building
All UGEAN members are active in building the capacity of the next generation of educational assessment researchers and practitioners. They teach on undergraduate, post-graduate and professional learning programmes and courses such as the University of Glasgow’s B Tech Ed + MA Religious and Philosophical Education; M Educ; PGDE (secondary) and PGDE (primary); MSc Psychological Studies; MSc Psychology; MSc Education, and supervise doctoral students in addition to students undertaking post-graduate research as part of those courses.
For those interested in developing a deep understanding of assessment, UGEAN has designed the MSc Assessment in Education (Programme development led by Louise Hayward). The programme, led by David Morrison-Love includes courses designed, led and delivered by Louise Hayward, Carolyn Hutchinson, Kara Makara, George MacBride, David Morrison-Love, Ernest Spencer and Lesley Wiseman-Orr:
