Commissioned by the Scottish Qualifications’ Authority, this project explored how teachers reconciled assessment for formative and summative purposes in Higher and Intermediate classes in a range of subjects In particular the project described and commented on the successful use of Grade-related Criteria for formative purposes in National Qualifications courses.
