Alison Precup, SSSC Learning Development Advisor

Alison Precup works at the Scottish Social Service Council (SSSC) and is a Learning and Development Adviser in the Leadership, Improvement and Learning Team. Alison is also Link Adviser in the Professional Learning Team, responsible for the approval and quality assurance of several childhood practice programmes across Scotland. Alison has over 40 years experience of working with children, young people and their families in the UK and abroad. She has extensive experience as a nursery manager. Further in her career she has worked as a Care Inspector, with the Care Inspectorate and lectured on the Childhood Practice Programmes at Edinburgh University. In parallel with her career development Alison also undertook, as a mature student, her BA in Childhood Studies and a MSc Childhood Studies.
