Biography
Having graduated from the University of Glasgow with BDS(Hons) in July 2015 and completing his MFDS with the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons Glasgow in 2016, Grant worked across various fields in Dentistry both in Scotland and abroad before joining the University of Glasgow as Clinical Lecturer in Dental Public Health in November 2020. He is also undertaking his Dental Public Health Specialty Training as an Honorary Specialty Registrar with NHS Geater Glasgow and Clyde and NHS Forth Valley Health Boards in Scotland.
He is currently undertaking his PhD research in Health Systems Factors in Advanced-Stage Diagnosis of Head and Neck Cancers in Europe and South America and Europe as part of the EU Horizon 202-funded HEADSpAcE project (Grant No: 825771).
Grant has wide ranging teaching interests that include oral health inequalities and planeatry health.
