Biography
I am primarily a poet, with collections including: too ok (BlazeVOX, 2011), Glovebox (Knives, Forks and Spoons, 2014) and Oberwildling with SJ Fowler (Austrian Cultural Forum, 2015). Glovebox was highly commended in the Forward Prizes.
In 2014, I toured Scotland with the successful ‘Auld Enemies’ tour, funded by Creative Scotland. Placing collaborative practice at the heart of the project, over 40 poets were invited to participate across the span of the tour.
With a background in the visual arts, I have collaborated with the artists Susan Wilson and Cat Outram on artist books, which have been shown at Edinburgh Printmakers and the Royal Scottish Academy respectively. I wrote my thesis on the writing and pedagogy of contemporary American poet Charles Bernstein in relation to the Ancient Greek Sophists.
