Welcome to the Theology and Religious Studies Research Seminar

A Theology and Religious Studies Research Seminar has existed in one form or another since the foundation of the University of Glasgow in 1451. This weekly seminar gathers members of staff, postgraduate students, and visiting scholars from many countries around central topics of theological.

At present the Theology Research Seminar is hosted by Professor Mark Elliott. During term time the seminar usually meets on Thursdays from 4.00-5.30pm in the Upper Seminar Room, in the Theology and Religious Studies Building, 4, The Square, University of Glasgow.

Every term the Seminar offers members of staff, doctoral students, and visiting scholars a possibility to present aspects of their work and initiate discussion. The Seminar also organises and co-hosts conferences, workshops, and book launches. See the current programme of the Seminar for details.
