How to apply

Please go to the relevant page of the Postgraduate Taught Degrees website which includes links to the online application form.  Each application is considered on its own merits, although we normally require from applicants a relevant Liberal Arts-based undergraduate degree, at least upper-second class level, or equivalent qualification overseas (US GPA 3.0 or higher). We also expect evidence of prior experience or interest in the medieval and/or renaissance period.  If you don’t have this background, a short statement outlining your reasons for your interest in the period will help to strengthen your application.  You may also include in your application a writing sample, such as a short course paper or a chapter from an undergraduate dissertation. The reports submitted by referees are important in helping us reach our decision.
