This trilogy of events marks the 9th anniversary of the Great East Japan Earthquake and Tsunami. Events take place on 5, 11 and 19 March. Free and open to all.

Japanese cultural workshop
Thursday 5 March, 5.30pm-7pm

Come along for tasters of calligraphy, sake, origami, drum, Kimono, regional culture and cuisine.
Film screening: ‘Life - The Untold Story of the Fukushima Evacuation Zion’
Wednesday 11 March, 5.30pm-8pm (doors open 5pm)
Gilmorehill Halls (cinema)
Director Chikai Kasai presents the untold story of the Fukushima evacuation zone. Free but registration necessary.
Real Fukushima: the nine-year journey
