The 19th Century reading group is an informal group open to all post-graduate students and staff of any subject. The group meets fortnightly to discuss short or extracted texts of a particular topic or author.
The 19th Century reading group is an informal group open to all post-graduate students and staff of any subject. The group meets fortnightly to discuss short or extracted texts of a particular topic or author. Previous topics include 'American(ish) Gothic' and 'Arctic Narratives'.
This semester's topic is the work of Wilkie Collins, beginning with 'The Frozen Deep', on Thursday 11th October, at 4pm in the café of the Fraser Building/ the Hub (don't worry, we're well signposted!).
