Biography

I am a postdoctoral research associate in the Glasgow Interaction Systems Section (GIST), currently working with Dr. Simone Stumpf on the PHAWM project: "Participatory Harm Auditing Workbenches and Methodologies". In this project we use a user-centred approach to develop tools and processes to support stakeholders without background knowledge in Artificial Intelligence (AI) to evaluate AI systems.

I previously worked within Stephen Brewster's Multimodal Interaction Group on the project RadioMe, an interdisciplinary project aiming to support people with dementia in their own home with adaptive radio, which integrated a reminder system into the live radio stream and agitation detection with wearable devices and agitation mitigation with calming music, and the ENTER project.

I finished my PhD project "Investigation of Thermal Feedback for In-Car Applications" at the University of Glasgow, after receiving my Bachelor's and Master's degree in Media Informatics at the University Ulm, Germany.
