The Schmidt research group deals with polymer and colloid chemistry, particularly we focus on three topics:
- Polymers in aqueous environment (block copolymer self-assembly and aqueous multi-phase systems)
- Polymer-metal organic framework hybrid materials (metal-organic framework catalysts and tailored crystal morphology)
- Reinforced hydrogels (tailored mechanical properties for biomedical applications)
