Fellowship Opportunities
Many members of the Functional Molecules and Assemblies Research Section have benefited from support from prestigious research Fellowships, including EPSRC Fellowships, Royal Society University Research Fellowships, and Royal Society of Edinburgh Personal Research Fellowships, and we strongly encourage enquiries from interested candidates looking for support to apply for an external Fellowship.
Applicants can expect to benefit from exceptional financial support through the University's Lord Kelvin Adam Smith Fellowship scheme, as well as comprehensive mentoring and training.
Informal enquiries can be made by email to the Head of Section; please send your CV, a brief outline of the research you would like to carry out at Glasgow, a suggested mentor, and details of the scheme you wish to apply for. You should not underestimate how long it takes to prepare a proposal, and in some cases internal pre-selection processes will apply, so contact us well before the expected deadline to allow you time to access the formal internal support process through which all applications must be submitted.
Note that all applications must be approved by the relevant Head of School, including outline applications.
