HOW TO APPLY
All applications for visiting academic staff or other visiting researchers including postdoctoral must be made and approved. In the first instance you should contact the relevant School/College member or subject area requesting such a visit. When doing so you should complete and submit the visiting scholar application form and a curriculum vitae.
Students who require formal supervision must apply through the College of Arts & Humanities Graduate School.
The current baseline fee is £1,000 per semester - but a fee remission scheme may apply for colleagues from institutions in developing countries or for other strategic development reasons. If the visit is shorter than one semester then the School would be willing to negotiate a pro rata fee, minimum £500.
