Biography
Calum is a sound artist and musician from Aberdeen, Scotland. His practice focuses on the development of object based sound art works (or sound sculptures) which seek to interrogate the materiality of sound and the sound of materials. He has toured internationally as a performer and works as a freelance composer and sound engineer.
Calum provides expert technical support, advice and guidance to staff and students across all programmes in Music in the School of Culture & Creative Arts. He is responsible for providing specialist technical advice and for introducing, implementing and maintaining audio and audio-visual facilities, new technological resources and innovations across the School and College.
