The Dublin-Glasgow Creative Cities Summit took place at the British Embassy in Dublin on 10 May. Organised by UofG Pro-Vice-Principal Professor Murray Pittock, this meeting brought together leading officials, cultural sector professionals and academics to explore new collaborations between the two cities.

Organised by UofG Pro-Vice-Principal Professor Murray Pittock, this meeting brought together leading officials, cultural sector professionals and academics to explore new collaborations between the two cities. There were highly informative reflections on current cultural and creative strategies and what each might learn from the other. Philip Schlesinger discussed the current screen production scene in Scotland, noting major challenges facing national public service media in the largely unregulated world of global digital players.
