The CulturalBase project, in which CCPR is a partner, held its major policy seminar on 'Cultural Heritage Policies for a Troubled Europe’ at the Bozar centre in Brussels on 31 January. It was attended by a wide range of cultural players and officials from the EU. Global political change is evidently provoking a reassessment of the importance of culture and cultural institutions inside the EU. Philip Schlesinger chaired the panel that presented the research partners’ contributions to a new research and policy agenda intended to influence the Framework Programme.
