The ESRC has awarded a grant to the Centre for Cultural Policy Research (CCPR) for a three-year study on 'TV Production in Transition: Independence, Scale and Sustainability' to be led by Professor Gillian Doyle (PI).
The ESRC has awarded a grant to the Centre for Cultural Policy Research (CCPR) for a three-year study on 'TV Production in Transition: Independence, Scale and Sustainability' to be led by Professor Gillian Doyle (PI). The project, which is worth £865,000, starts in 2017 and will investigate the economic and cultural implications of changes in the ownership structure of the television production sector. Richard Paterson, Head of Research and Scholarship at the British Film Institute (BFI), is Co-I on the study which will investigate questions surrounding adaptation and sustainability in a rapidly changing television landscape.
