Following on from her work as supervisor on the report of the EU High Level Group on Media Freedom and Pluralism published in January 2013, Gillian Doyle attended a seminar on Media Pluralism and Freedom in a Connected Europe at the Institute of International and European Affairs (IIEA) in Dublin which convened a panel of ministers, practitioners and policy-makers including Pat Rabbitte T.D., Minister for Communications, Energy and Natural Resources and Commissioner Neelie Kroes, Vice-President of the European Commission.
