Event 2 - Perspectives on European Collections

Centre for Contemporary Art, Glasgow 10.50-4pm
This event will provide an opportunity to gain greater insight into three European public collections, based respectively in Barcelona, Dijon and Eindhoven, and recent strategies and approaches undertaken by those organizations towards the expansion and presentation of their contemporary collections. In addition, Rotterdam artists Liesbeth Bik and Jos Van der Pol, who work collaboratively as Bik Van der Pol, will discuss selected recent projects such as I’ve Got Something in My Eye with the Marieluise Hessel Collection at the Center for Curatorial Studies, Bard College in New York, and Married by Powers with the Collection FRAC Nord Pas-de-Calais.
