MVLS Engagement Awards 2022 are now open and encourage staff and students from across MVLS to submit nominations
We are excited to announce that our MVLS Engagement Awards 2022 are now open and encourage staff and students from across MVLS to submit nominations.
These awards aim to celebrate the fantastic public engagement already taking place across MVLS by recognising and rewarding the individuals and projects that are successfully engaging the public with our world-changing research.
This year, we have simplified the application process and will offer awards in the following categories:
- Engaged Researcher of the Year
- Engaged Early Career Researcher of the Year – in association with NERDs
- Public Engagement Project(s) Award
The awards are open to all MVLS staff and PGRs.
Nominations may be submitted by any member of University staff or MVLS student, and self-nominations are encouraged. Collaborative projects that include MVLS research work and staff are welcome. Long-term engagement and projects are eligible but must include activity within the last 12 months.
Winning applicants will receive a certificate and a monetary award - £300 gift voucher or up to £1000 towards future public engagement activities.
The deadline for nominations is Monday 9 January 2023.
