We would like to welcome Dr Heather Walker to SCMH. Dr Heather Walker is a renal and general medicine doctor originally training in NHS Tayside.
We would like to welcome Dr Heather Walker to SCMH. Dr Heather Walker is a renal and general medicine doctor originally training in NHS Tayside. She is undertaking a clinical fellow post with the University of Glasgow as part of the Wellcome Trust funded Multimorbidity PhD Programme for Health Professionals. She is working on a project looking at kidney failure risk in patients with CKD and multimorbidity.
Her PhD project will explore kidney failure risk in a population with chronic kidney disease and multimorbidity and frailty and how this is communicated to patients.
