Congratulations to Dr Jennifer Lees who is the winner of this year's UK Kidney Association Raine Award
Dr Jennifer Lees is this year’s winner of the UK Kidney Association Raine award: a prestigious annual award made to a junior investigator who has not reached consultant grade, or senior lecturer for non-clinical scientists, and who has made a significant contribution to renal research. This is the first time a Glasgow trainee has won the Raine award since its inauguration in 1996. The award was created in honour of the esteemed British nephrologist, Dr Anthony “Tony” Raine, and will be presented by his wife, Dame June Raine (Chief Executive of the MHRA) at the annual UK Kidney Association meeting, to be held in Birmingham in June 2022.
