SCMH Postgraduate Research Symposium

Symposium to be on the 8th September at the Advanced Research Centre
The SCMH Postgraduate Research Student Symposium is on the 8th September 2023 in the Advanced Research Centre (ARC). This will be a conference style Presentation day, providing PhD/MD students with the opportunity to present their own research. Come along and enegage with the broad research being carried out in the SCMH!
There will be four session and two poster sessions within the day. The first session will be Careers in Academia with Prof Jason Gill, Dr Lorraine Work, Dr Laura Dowsett and Dr Erin Boland. The second session will be Tehnical Flash Talk with Dr Leandro Lemgruber, Dr Josie Fullerton and Ms Diane Vaughan. The third session is on Industry and Academia presentations with Dr Simon Fisher, Prof George Baillie and Dr Connor Blair. Then in the fourth and final session is a Q&A on PhD Thesis Submission.
An extended invitation to the SCMH community to attend the two poster sessions during which PGR students will be presenting. Poster sessions will be taking place 10.45am-11.30am, and 12.30pm-1.30pm.
Can we also remind PIs and other group members to encourage PGRs to submit abstracts to c.trivett.1@research.gla.ac.uk by Wednesday 6th September. Posters already presented at conference this year (or to be presented) are welcome and encouraged.
