Welcome to Sheena McGowan who has joined the Geriatric Medicine Group in the New Lister Building
Sheena McGowan joined the School of Cardiovascular & Metabolic Health in June working with Dr Terry Quinn, as the project manager supporting the new Scottish Funding Council initiative – the Brain Health ARC.
Sheena has worked with the University of Glasgow for a number of years managing a range of clinical projects across different disciplines that support the translation of new discoveries and interventions into clinical trials.
Within the role of Brain Health ARC PM, Sheena will support new cross sectoral, multidisciplinary collaborations with a shared vision of improving our nation’s brain health, making Scotland the ‘go to’ destination for brain health research, and ultimately finding solutions to the societal challenges associated with brain ageing.
