The NERD committee would like to you to their next event, where the topic of imposter Syndrome will be explored in a lunchtime session. It hopes there will be an interesting discussion exploring the experiences of imposter syndrome, why it occurs, the impact it may have on scientific careers and how we can successfully manage it.

We are excited to have four brilliant panellists lined up:

  • Maddie Breeze - Senior Lecturer, Sociology & Public Sociology, University of Strathclyde
  • Suzie Shapiro - Mental Health & Wellbeing Campaigns Adviser, University of Glasgow
  • David Bryant - Principal Investigator, Institute of Cancer Sciences/CRUK Beatson Institute
  • Robyn Emmin - Scientific Director, GSK

The panel will be hosted on Zoom with interactive elements via Mentimeter to promote discussion. Ahead of the panel, you can install the Mentimeter app to Zoom by clicking this link.
