As part of the University’s Technician Commitment, which recently marked its 5year Anniversary, The UofG Technician Conference was held on campus on the 8^th of June. SCMH technicians not only enjoyed the ice cream and the Yoga session but also the opportunity to learn more about the work carried out by colleagues across the campus. The Keynote presentation from Prof Paul Chapman, Head of the Glasgow School of Art SimVis, on Virtual Reality development was especially well received. Many practical applications for the future can happen with collaborations across different specialities. There was very positive feedback from all who attended with great ideas for future events. #Technicians Make it Happen#
